Painful Commute

Cannon Street
So, not content with massive delays outside East Croydon thanks to a trackside fire that had apparently been blazing all night somewhere near Purley, my commute had another little suprise in store, Cannon Street was *closed*, so everything had to try and cram up King William Street (which wasn't really working)...*and* there was nothing good to read in the Metro...

Not a good day for travel today... >:P

(Sorry, I'll stop moaning now... ;)

well instead of moaning about metro you should've filled your blog with your recent connection (sorry bad joke with your recent problems with commuting!!!) with metro, hotels, name to fame... yes i heard a whisper a while ago, and finally found the web page.. been waiting for you to blog about it.....

Oh yes, thanks for reminding me "anonymous", for those that don't know, I sent the top picture from this posting - http://finkangel.blogspot.com/2006/08/king-charles-hotel-gillingham-review.html - into the "Metro" newspaper for their "Holiday Nightmares" competition, and got published! Didn't win, but got an honerable mention, they even quoted my "lovingly decorated by local artists" comment...in fact, that might have swung it for me... ;)
